Playing mobile games on a larger screen with keyboard mapping is a normal reason to install an emulator. Pushing automation against competitive online games, spoofing locations to farm events unfairly, or harassing other players is not.
We describe features such as sync ops, operation recording, and virtual location accurately because they exist in the product. We do not encourage using them to harm communities or violate publisher rules.

Source transparency
MuMuPlayer is proprietary, not an open-source project. Transparency on mumuplayer.co means publishing what we can verify: version strings, release timing, installer size, SHA256/SHA1 digests, and changelog excerpts from official release notes.
ADB and developer hooks exist for legitimate debugging. They are not a substitute for audited public source.

A genuine MuMuPlayer installer that matches the published hash is not malware. Security products may still display warnings because of driver installation and virtualization behavior.
